Rick
Paris & Monique deVries have been associated with German Shepherds since
the early 1970’s in one form or another and have always been enamored with
their strength, majesty, loyalty and intelligence. “We breed for the love of the breed itself, and only have one breeding pair at a time to ensure the quality of the litter. It takes time, patients and hard work to hand raise good pups that will be well socialized with even temperaments and good drive. Before we ever breed, we have both the Dam and Sire fully certified for top qualities in hips, elbows, eyes and disposition. Our livelihood is in no way dependent on breeding and importing dogs. We engage in these activities as a joyous hobby that we take very seriously. We strongly believe that a breeding should be carefully planned and done for the purpose of improving the finer qualities of the breed. We do not have many litters. When we do have a litter, they are raised in our home with constant attention, handling and stimulus. We do not believe in mass produced puppies. We make every effort to fulfill the buyer’s specific requests. The goal is for you to be happy with your dog and for the dog to have a good home. This is the number one priority for us. Puppy socialization is very important in any breeding program. All of our puppies receive individual attention from the minute they are born. We get the puppies used to a variety of environmental stimulus by taking them to different places and exposing them to the sights and sounds of the world. Our puppies are beautiful, confident, intelligent, friendly and outgoing.” Rick and
Monique have since moved to the “Our dogs are an every day part of our family from waking up our young daughter to get to school, playing fetch during the day between chores, or going for a swim down at the river. When we have a litter, they become part of our family as well. As soon as they are old enough we bring them outside with us to run, play and explore with their Mom & Dad and Aunt Shiraz. It is so fun to watch the pups interact with the “grown-ups” and watch Mom and Dad teach them puppy etiquette. Our biggest downfall is that we do not have the time or the clubs near by to Shutzhund or compete and title our dogs locally, but we always make sure our breading pair and pups have the top qualities, lineage and capabilities if so desired. We cry every time one of our pups gets shipped off and love it when we still get Christmas cards eight years later with pictures of our past pups and their happy families.” We hope you enjoy our Website!
